ASADO returns to Assembly Park in Vaughan from June 26-28, bringing together thousands of people for a three-day celebration of Latin American food, music, culture, and community. Following the success of previous editions, this year’s festival is expected to attract record crowds from across the GTA and beyond.
With more vendors, more entertainment, and more cultural experiences than ever before, ASADO continues its mission of showcasing the incredible diversity of Latin America in one unforgettable weekend.
What’s New for 2026?
• Expanded Entertainment Lineup
Festival-goers can expect an even larger lineup of live performances, DJs, dancers, and cultural showcases representing countries from across Latin America and the Caribbean. From reggaeton and salsa to bachata and merengue, the energy will be nonstop all weekend long.
• More Food Than Ever Before
With over 50 food vendors, restaurants, and culinary teams expected on-site, attendees will have the opportunity to sample authentic dishes from across the region. Whether you’re craving Brazilian steak, Ecuador and Colombian street food`, Mexican favourites, Caribbean flavours, or hidden gems from lesser-known cuisines, ASADO is quickly becoming one of Canada’s premier destinations for Latin food lovers.

• Cultural Experiences and Community Activations
Beyond the food and music, guests can enjoy cultural exhibits, family-friendly activities, community showcases, art installations, and interactive experiences designed to celebrate the stories, traditions, and people behind Latin culture.
• Special Friday Night Kickoff
The weekend officially begins with the I Love Reggaeton Block Party on Friday night, transforming Assembly Park into one of the largest outdoor Latin dance parties in the GTA.

Why ASADO Matters
ASADO is more than just a food festival. It’s a celebration of identity, culture, and community.
As the Latin population across the GTA continues to grow, ASADO has become a gathering place where people from all backgrounds can come together through food, music, and shared experiences. The festival showcases local businesses, artists, entrepreneurs, and performers while introducing thousands of visitors to the richness and diversity of Latin culture.
One of the biggest surprises of this year’s festival is the addition of Nina Sky on Friday, June 27. More than two decades after taking over dance floors worldwide with Move Ya Body, the iconic duo will perform at ASADO’s opening night celebration in Vaughan. Considering tickets start at just $5, it may be one of the best entertainment deals of the summer. A live Nina Sky performance, dozens of food vendors, outdoor bars, and thousands of Latin music fans all in one place is expected to make the 2nd night one of the busiest days of the entire festival.

Visitors can expect:
• 50+ food vendors and restaurants representing Latin America and the Caribbean
• Live music, DJs, dancers, and cultural performances throughout the weekend
• Family-friendly programming and activities
• Interactive cultural experiences and community activations
• Latin-owned businesses, artisans, and vendors
• A vibrant outdoor atmosphere filled with food, music, and celebration
