J Balvin and Chencho Corleone have achieved their first collaborative No. 1 hit on Billboard’s Latin Rhythm Airplaychart with “Polvo De Tu Vida,” which climbed from No. 5 to the top spot on the October 12-dated chart. This track, the second single from J Balvin’s album Rayo, has further solidified Balvin’s place in Latin music, giving him his 36th No. 1 hit on the chart. By doing so, he surpasses Daddy Yankee to hold the second-most No. 1s in the chart’s history, just behind the leader Ozuna with 31.

For Chencho Corleone, this is his sixth No. 1 hit, dating back to his featured role on Tito El Bambino’s “A Que No Te Atreves” in 2014. “Polvo De Tu Vida” took 14 weeks to reach the No. 1 position, marking it as one of the longer climbs to the top in 2024, tying with Venesti’s “Es Normal.”

The song’s success is reflected in its impressive 6.13 million audience impressions, a 26% increase from the previous week, according to Luminate.

This marks another major achievement for J Balvin, whose previous hit “Dientes” with Usher and DJ Khaled topped the chart in late 2023. Chencho Corleone also recently celebrated success with “Podemos Repetirlo,” his collaboration with Don Omar, which topped the charts in September 2023.
