Maluma can officially add Hot Wheels designer to his résumé.
The Colombian superstar has teamed up with Mattel’s Hot Wheels to create his own collectible Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60, with a design inspired by his Colombian heritage, childhood love of cars and personal journey to becoming one of Latin music’s biggest global stars.
Maluma is part of Hot Wheels’ first-ever “Class of Legends,” alongside football superstar Robert Lewandowski and automotive creator Supercar Blondie. Each collaborated with Hot Wheels to create a 1:64-scale vehicle connected to their own story.
For Maluma, the choice was a Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60.
And there’s plenty of Colombia in the details.
The red vehicle features retro graphics incorporating colours from the Colombian flag, off-road mud splatter and several personal Maluma touches. “La Matrona” appears across the windshield, his name is featured on the rear window and the vehicle carries a custom “MLM 994” licence plate.
There’s also a reference to his album Loco x Volver on the back of the vehicle.
It Started With Hot Wheels
The collaboration has an even deeper meaning for Maluma.
The Medellín-born singer revealed that his fascination with cars actually began with Hot Wheels when he was a child in Colombia.
Maluma told PEOPLE that Hot Wheels weren’t easy for him to get growing up. That changed when an uncle returned from the United States with a large box containing Hot Wheels cars and a small track.
He fell in love with cars from that moment.
Today, Maluma has a real-life car collection, but he hasn’t forgotten where the obsession started.
His decision to choose a Land Cruiser rather than something more obvious like a Ferrari also reflects where he is in life today.
Maluma explained that the Land Cruiser is a vehicle he associates with family. The 32-year-old is expecting his second child, a baby boy, with girlfriend Susana Gómez, and says he’s looking forward to playing Hot Wheels with his son just as he currently does with daughter Paris.

The Collaboration Is Giving Back to Colombia
Perhaps the coolest part of the partnership has nothing to do with the car.
As part of the campaign, Hot Wheels is donating $100,000 to El Arte de los Sueños, the organization founded in Colombia by Maluma and his sister.
The organization works with vulnerable young people through programs involving singing, dance, music production and composition, along with psychological support.
The Maluma Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 is part of the 2026 Hot Wheels Global Legends Collection and is available for pre-order through Mattel Creations for $25 USD.
For a kid from Medellín who once had to wait for his uncle to bring Hot Wheels home from the United States, having his own official Hot Wheels car decades later is a pretty incredible full-circle moment.
And naturally, he made sure Colombia came along for the ride.
