Toronto’s food scene has another Latin American reason to celebrate.

Antylia, a Toronto restaurant inspired by the diverse flavours of Latin America, has been named a 2026 Michelin Bib Gourmand, joining the prestigious Michelin Guide Toronto & Region.

Located on Bloor Street West, Antylia is led by husband-and-wife team Aldo Camarena and Ashley McKay and serves Canadian cuisine through what Michelin describes as a “diasporic Latin American lens.”

The menu draws inspiration from several Latin American culinary traditions, including Argentina, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru, making its Michelin recognition especially notable for Toronto’s diverse Latin community.

Bib Gourmand distinctions are awarded by Michelin to restaurants offering particularly good food at a reasonable price.

Antylia was one of five new restaurants to receive a Bib Gourmand in the 2026 Toronto & Region guide.

Latin cuisine already has a growing presence in Toronto’s Michelin scene. Mexican restaurant Quetzal retained its Michelin star for 2026, while restaurants including Campechano, Puerto Bravo and Conejo Negro remain among the city’s Bib Gourmand selections.

For Antylia, however, the new recognition puts another spotlight on the diversity of Latin American cuisine — including a welcome taste of Ecuadorian influence — in one of Canada’s most celebrated food cities.
