The One Country Bad Bunny Didn’t Name at the Super Bowl

Based on reports, Belize was the only Central American country that Bad Bunny did not verbally name during his Super Bowl LX halftime show, even though he listed more than 20 nations from across North and South America during the finale of his performance.

At the end of his set, Bad Bunny closed with a unifying declaration of “God bless America” — using “America” in the broader continental sense — followed by a roll call of countries including Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Haiti, the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.

Although Belize wasn’t spoken aloud in that list, its flag was displayed onstage with others at the end of the show, reinforcing Bad Bunny’s theme of pan-American unity.

The moment sparked online discussion about how even small details like this can take on symbolic significance in a performance meant to celebrate cultural inclusivity and continental identity.
