Shakira has made history yet again — this time in Ecuador. The Colombian superstar shattered attendance records with three consecutive sold-out concerts at Quito’s Estadio Olímpico Atahualpa, drawing a massive 105,000 fans over Nov. 8, 9, and 11, 2025. No artist had ever achieved this in the city before.

A Historic Moment for Ecuador

Fans lined up from early morning — many traveling from Colombia, Peru, and Chile — to witness the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran world tour. Local media called the shows “an explosion of euphoria, fire, and talent,” as Shakira delivered high-energy performances filled with pyrotechnics, giant screens, and signature choreography.

The setlist spanned three decades, including classics like Antología, La Tortura, Hips Don’t Lie, and TQG, along with a heartfelt message about female empowerment, a central theme of her latest album.

A Major Boost for Quito

The concerts delivered a huge economic lift. The Quito Chamber of Tourism estimates the shows generated over US$10 million through hotels, transportation, restaurants, and local spending — reinforcing Quito’s place as a rising cultural hub in Latin America.

Shakira’s Tour Keeps Breaking Records

Shakira’s Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour is officially the most successful Latin female tour in history, drawing more than 2.5 million fans and grossing over US$327 million from its first 64 dates.

More record-breaking moments:

  • 🇲🇽 12 consecutive sold-out shows in Mexico City (780,000+ fans)

  • 🇨🇴 A massive 47,000-person homecoming show in Bogotá

  • 🏆 Named “Global Touring Icon” by Billboard in 2025

With unprecedented attendance, massive cultural impact, and nonstop global demand, Shakira has once again proven she’s one of the most powerful touring artists on the planet.
