Fans of the late Selena Quintanilla are about to see the beloved Tejano icon like never before. The Quintanilla family has released the trailer for Selena y Los Dinos: A Family’s Legacy, a new Netflix documentary that unveils never-before-seen home videos, personal photos, and behind-the-scenes moments from Selena’s rise to fame.
The film — which earned the Documentary Special Jury Award for Archival Storytelling at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year — celebrates Selena’s journey from performing with her family band, Selena y Los Dinos, to becoming one of the most influential Latin artists of all time.
Executive produced by her siblings Suzette Quintanilla and A.B. Quintanilla III, and directed by Isabel Castro, the documentary highlights intimate family memories, early performances, and interviews that showcase Selena’s warmth, determination, and joy beyond the stage.
Nearly three decades after her tragic passing in 1995 at just 23, Selena’s spirit continues to inspire new generations.
Selena y Los Dinos: A Family’s Legacy premieres November 17 on Netflix.
