Latin music takes over Vaughan this November as Salseros With Attitude & C1080N come together for a big Saturday night at VIVO Nightclub.

Salseros With Attitude (SWA) are one of Toronto’s established Latin live acts, blending traditional salsa with a more modern, urban sound influenced by hip-hop, R&B and today’s Latin music. Formed in 2016, the group has performed across the region and has shared the stage with salsa legends including Charlie Aponte, Ismael Miranda, and more.

C1080 North, meanwhile, brings something completely different to the night. The Toronto-based candombe group celebrates the powerful Afro-Uruguayan drumming tradition, filling the room with live percussion and the unmistakable rhythms of Uruguay. The group has become a familiar presence at Latin festivals and cultural events around the GTA.

Together, you’re getting two very different live Latin experiences on the same night — salsa with an urban edge from SWA and the raw energy of candombe from C1080 North.

Happening Saturday, November 14, the night will bring a mix of cumbia, plena, salsa, bachata, cuarteto, merengue, reggaetón and more — basically, something for every corner of the Latin dance floor.

Joining them will be DJ GEO, DJ Giano and DJ Zeba, keeping the music going throughout the night.

With live Latin sounds, DJs and a mix of genres from across Latin America, this one is built for anyone who wants to dance — no matter where you’re from. 🌎🔥
