Maluma has expanded his creative empire with the launch of Remanence, a new athleisure brand unveiled through a grand runway show in Medellín, Colombia. As owner and creative director, the Latin superstar aims to celebrate Colombian culture while prioritizing sustainability and lo

cal production. The debut collection, titled NEXIS, features minimalist, versatile pieces like parkas, pants, and shorts, designed to transition seamlessly between activities—a solution to Maluma’s fast-paced lifestyle.

Rooted in environmental consciousness, the brand incorporates water preservation and energy-efficient practices. “This is about creating a lasting impact for the next generation,” Maluma explains. Beyond fashion, the project is a tribute to Medellín, his hometown and constant source of inspiration. “I want the world to know about Medellín and this awesome place we live in,” he shares.

Maluma credits the rise of influential Latin designers, such as CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year Willy Chavarria, as inspiration for his venture. “Latinos are killing it right now,” he says, emphasizing his desire to contribute to the flourishing Latin fashion industry.

On the music front, Maluma is returning to his roots. Inspired by his early albums Magia and Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy, he’s creating reggaeton tracks reminiscent of the style that initially captivated fans. “It’s the perfect moment to go back to the music I love making,” he reveals. Fueled by the joy of becoming a father, Maluma is embracing this creative resurgence with passion and gratitude. He teases a major musical surprise coming soon, signaling a new chapter in his career.
