Karol G will be honored as Woman of the Year at the Billboard Latin Women in Music 2024, set to air on Telemundo on June 9 at 9 p.m. ET. This recognition comes shortly after being named Billboard’s 2024 Woman of the Year in March. Karol G’s recent accomplishments include being the first female artist to top the Billboard 200 with a Spanish-language album, Mañana Será Bonito, and winning her first Grammy for best música urbana album. She also launched the Con Cora Foundation to support various social causes, especially benefiting women and at-risk youth.

The event will also honor other influential Latin women in the music industry. Gloria Estefan will receive the Legend award, Camila Cabello the Global Impact award, Ana Bárbara the Lifetime Achievement award, Ángela Aguilar the Musical Dynasty award, Kali Uchis the Rising Star award, and Kany García the Spirit of Change award.
