Inter Miami Becomes MLS’ Most Valuable Club at $1.45 Billion

Inter Miami CF has officially reached the top of Major League Soccer’s financial mountain.

According to a new valuation report from Sportico, the Herons are now worth $1.45 billion, making them the most valuable franchise in MLS. That figure represents a 22% jump from last year’s $1.19 billion valuation — and it’s enough to leapfrog Los Angeles FC, which now sits at $1.4 billion.

The rise isn’t random. It’s strategic — and global.

Ever since Lionel Messi signed with Inter Miami CF in July 2023, the club’s trajectory has been nothing short of explosive. Before Messi arrived, Inter Miami was valued at $585 million and ranked 10th in MLS. Less than three years later, the club has more than doubled its valuation.

Messi’s impact has gone beyond goals and trophies. He’s driven international sponsorships, record-breaking ticket demand, global broadcast deals and sold-out preseason tours across Latin America. With Messi now signed through the 2028 season, the club has a multi-year runway to continue building both competitive and commercial dominance.

Only LA Galaxy, Atlanta United and New York City FC remain in the billion-dollar club alongside Miami, while Seattle Sounders and Austin FC are closing in.

The MLS is growing — but Inter Miami is setting the pace.
