Colombian Woman, Pregnant With 20th Child, Calls Motherhood ‘Business Opportunity’

Martha, a 39-year-old woman from Medellin, Colombia, is expecting her 20th child and has no plans to stop expanding her family. She sees motherhood as a lucrative venture, benefiting from financial aid provided by the Colombian government for each child. However, despite government assistance and support from the local church and neighbors, Martha struggles to cover the costs of raising her large family. Living in a cramped three-bedroom apartment, she faces challenges in providing adequate meals and sleeping arrangements for her children.

Martha views motherhood as a business opportunity and intends to continue having children until her body can no longer bear it.
