Canada announces the #CANFutsal Roster for the Concacaf Futsal Championship in Nicaragua

Canada Soccer has unveiled the 14-player squad, led by Head Coach Kyt Selaidopoulos, and assistant coaches Lorenzo Redwood and Alex DaRocha, for the 2024 Concacaf Futsal Championship in Managua, Nicaragua. The tournament also acts as a qualifier for the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup in Uzbekistan. Canada, placed in Group B, will take on hosts Nicaragua, Cuba, and Panama. Matches kick off on April 13th against Cuba (6pm ET), followed by games against Panama on April 14th (6pm ET) and Nicaragua on April 15th (8pm ET). Selaidopoulos expressed confidence in the team’s youth and their desire to shine on the big stage. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage, with the top four earning spots in the FIFA Futsal World Cup. Canada aims for redemption after being eliminated in the Quarterfinals of the 2021 edition. Matches will be broadcasted live on OneSoccer and Concacaf Go, with extended coverage on Canada Soccer’s digital platforms using #CANFutsal.
