Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime performance didn’t just make cultural history — it immediately rewrote the streaming record books.

Following his groundbreaking, Spanish-language-dominant performance, Bad Bunny saw his Spotify streams surge by 470% in the United States and 210% globally. By Monday morning, Benito occupied six of the top six spots on Spotify’s U.S. Daily Top Songs chart, an almost unheard-of feat.

A Chart Takeover

At the top of the Spotify U.S. Top 50 sat “DtMF,” followed closely by tracks from his Grammy-winning album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, including “BAILE INoLVIDABLE,” “NUEVAYoL,” “EoO,” and “VOY A LLeVARTE PA PR.”His global smash “Tití Me Preguntó” also re-entered the top tier, landing at No. 6, while his collaboration with J Balvin, “LA CANCIÓN,” continued climbing.

In total, 17 Bad Bunny songs appeared on Spotify’s U.S. Top 50 the morning after the game. The streaming boom wasn’t limited to his biggest hits. Older and more niche tracks saw dramatic spikes:

  • “Yo Perreo Sola”: +2,170%

  • “El Apagón”: +1,320%

  • “CAFé CON RON” and “LO QUE LE PASÓ A HAWAii” also surged, the latter boosted by an emotional on-stage performance with Ricky Martin.

“DtMF” also re-entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 10, further cementing the post-Super Bowl momentum.

The Power of Representation

Bad Bunny’s halftime show — the first in Super Bowl history performed primarily in Spanish — paid tribute to Puerto Rico and Latino culture through music, imagery, and symbolism. Surprise appearances by Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin added to the moment, with Martin also enjoying a 145% spike in U.S. streams.

Early data suggests the performance drew over 135 million viewers, making it the most-watched halftime show of all time.

Bigger Than a Spike

Bad Bunny was already Spotify’s most-streamed artist of 2025, with more than 1.3 billion global streams last month alone leading into the Grammys and Super Bowl. But this post-halftime surge highlights something larger: when Latino culture takes center stage, the world listens — and presses play.

The Super Bowl may have ended, but Bad Bunny’s victory lap is just getting louder.
