The 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards celebrated the biggest names in Latin music live from Miami’s James L. Knight Center — with Bad Bunny, Karol G, and Fuerza Regida emerging as the night’s top winners.

The annual awards show, broadcast on Telemundo, Peacock, and Telemundo Internacional, honored artists across 49 categories spanning Latin pop, regional Mexican, tropical, and Latin rhythm genres.

Bad Bunny Wins Big at Billboard Latin Music Awards 2025

Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny dominated the ceremony, taking home 11 awards, including Artist of the Year and Top Latin Album of the Year for his record-breaking album Debí Tirar Más Fotos.

The Monaco singer also received the special honor of Top Latin Artist of the 21st Century, presented by Rita Moreno, who shared an unforgettable salsa dance moment with him on stage.

“I consider myself a young man who continues to dream, with many goals and things to do,” Bad Bunny said during his acceptance speech.

Karol G Shines with Six Awards

Karol G continued her global takeover with six wins, including Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year (Female) and Latin Airplay Song of the Year for her viral hit “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido.”

Her continued success underscores the dominance of female artists in Latin music, with Shakira also taking home Tour of the Year and Latin Pop Artist of the Year (Solo).

Fuerza Regida and Peso Pluma Represent Regional Mexican Music

Fuerza Regida had one of the strongest showings of the night with five awards, including Hot Latin Song of the Year (Vocal Event) for “Tu Boda” featuring Óscar Maydon.

Regional Mexican powerhouses Peso Pluma, Netón Vega, and Tito Double P were also among the top winners, highlighting the unstoppable rise of corridos tumbados and the global popularity of Mexican regional music.

The night also recognized Latin music legends and innovators:

  • 🎵 Elvis Crespo was inducted into the Billboard Hall of Fame
