Anuel x Reebok Collaboration

BARRIO (SneakerNews) – From Bad Bunny’s many takes on the adidas Campus and Forum Low to The Swooshes’ yearly homage to the titular island territory, Puerto Rico has been well-represented within the sneaker community over the past few years. Nearly eight months following his initial foray into the ecosystem of footwear, PR rapper Anuel AA is returning his keen eye for detail to Reebok’s archives.

Inspired by the hues that fill the Caribbean sky, Anuel AA’s second collaborative effort with Reebok sees the multi-hyphenate take on both the Reebok Question Mid and the Classic Leather, dressing the latter in a monochrome base layer with hits of lively blue and name branding placed along the insoles. Casting a dominant majority of its real estate in “Ftwr White” tumbled leather, the forefoot’s jet-black suede toe cap is doubled up with a cloudy print coating the underlay which additionally treats the heel tab. While pitch-dark shades work to invigorate the sock liner and trim of the heel, an onslaught of “Digital Blue” consumes the remaining embellishments including the tongue trim, hexagonal cushioning and semi-translucent tread underfoot.

Accompanied by a color-matched Reebok Classic Leather, the Anuel AA x Reebok Question Mid Double Toe is scheduled to release next Monday, April 24th, for a retail price of $170.
