Anuel to make acting debut in Indie horror film ‘You Lose You Die’

Emmanuel Gazmey Santiago, known as Anuel AA, is set to make his feature debut in the indie horror film You Lose You Die, directed by Carlos “Spiff TV” Suarez. He joins stars Freddy Rodriguez, who also executive produces, and WWE star Ashley Elizabeth Fliehr (Charlotte Flair). DJ Luian will also debut in the film.

The plot centers around sociopathic tech expert Mr. Fantastik (Rodriguez), who, along with Ms. Perfect (Fliehr) and Mr. Creep (Anthony Alvarez), runs a dark web show where viewers vote on deadly games for prisoners. Anuel AA plays EZ Money, and DJ Luian portrays Ice Pick. The cast also includes Josh Bredl, Sophia Zimba, Ashley Hernandez, Alejandro Duran, Noah Crider, Marcella Acuña, Mercy Grant, and Lydia Faith Gomez.

Executive producers include Rodriguez, Josue “Sway” Mendez, and Ulysses Terrero, with Mendez also producing. Michael Patti is the director of photography.

Anuel AA is a pioneering Puerto Rican rapper in Latin trap music, known for his debut album Real Hasta La Muerte and collaborations with Daddy Yankee, Karol G, Ozuna, and J Balvin. He won the Billboard Latin Music Award for New Artist of the Year in 2019. DJ Luian, also Puerto Rican, is a DJ and producer known for hits like “La Ocasión,” “Mia,” and “Sensualidad.” He co-founded the music label Hear This Music and discovered Bad Bunny.
