BARRIO – It is already known that the Colombian Men’s National Team is currently going through a difficult time, but what you may not know is that there is a Colombian National Team that is succeeding despite everything.

This is the female Colombian U-17 team. They have earned a trip to the semis vs. Nigeria after beating Tanzania 3-0 in the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in India.

Colombia’s Linda Caicedo took just three minutes to show why, at the age of only 17, she is already one of South America’s greatest players. She put her side ahead with a cool flick over Tanzania keeper Zulfa Makau.

On Wednesday October 6 (7am EST) Colombia will play a strong Nigeria team that beat USA in a penalty shoot out.

VAMOS COLOLMBIA!
