Canada’s Hispanic community is coming together for an evening of recognition, culture and celebration.

On October 22, Toronto will host the 18th Annual 10 Most Influential Hispanic Canadians Gala, honouring individuals who are making a meaningful impact through leadership, innovation and achievement across the country.

Presented by TLN Media Group, the annual event shines a spotlight on Hispanic Canadians whose contributions continue to shape Canada’s business, cultural and professional landscape.

This year’s celebration will take place at the Joseph D. Carrier Art Gallery inside the Columbus Centre in Toronto, bringing together community leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals and supporters of Canada’s growing Hispanic community.

Montreal Mayor Soraya Martinez Ferrada to Deliver Keynote Address

One of the evening’s highlights will be a keynote address by Montreal Mayor Soraya Martinez Ferrada.

Her participation adds another significant voice to an event dedicated to recognizing Hispanic leadership and the important role the community continues to play in Canadian society.

Beyond the awards ceremony, guests can enjoy cocktails, canapés, live dance performances, a DJ and social dancing.

Toronto Latinos Founder Among Past Recipients

The awards also hold special significance for Toronto Latinos.

In 2024, Carlos Brito was named a finalist and ultimately won the inaugural Influencer of the Year, recognizing the platform’s contributions to connecting, promoting and celebrating the Latin American community in Canada.

What began as a platform to bring Latinos together has grown into a recognizable voice for Latin culture, entertainment, events and community initiatives across the Greater Toronto Area.

The recognition reflects the growing influence of Latino-led businesses, organizations and community builders who continue to create opportunities and strengthen the community’s presence across Canada.
