If you thought the FIFA World Cup in Toronto was only about soccer, think again.

The FIFA Fan Festival at Fort York and The Bentway is shaping up to be one of the city’s biggest entertainment events of the summer, combining live match broadcasts, food, culture, and an impressive lineup of Canadian and international artists. Running throughout the tournament, the festival will welcome thousands of fans from around the world for a daily celebration of music and football.

Among the headline performers announced so far are Alessia Cara, Jully Black, Shawn Desman, Deborah Cox, Kiesza, k-os, Tyler Shaw, Aqyila, Ruby Waters and crowd-favourite Kardinal Offishall, who will be appearing throughout the festival with his Soundclash Society showcase.

The celebrations actually begin before the tournament kicks off with FIFA’s Countdown Concert on June 10, featuring Bryan Adams, Nora Fatehi, Vegedream and a special collaboration between AHI and Wyclef Jean.

For Toronto’s Latin community, one of the most exciting additions is Toronto’s own Itz Nico P, who continues to build momentum as one of the city’s rising Latin voices. His inclusion highlights the growing influence of Latin music in Toronto and ensures local talent will have a chance to shine on one of the biggest stages the city has ever hosted.

With World Cup matches, live concerts, food vendors, cultural performances, and fans representing countries from every corner of the globe, the FIFA Fan Festival is expected to become a daily destination throughout the tournament. Whether you’re cheering for Canada, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina, Mexico, or simply looking for a great summer event, this is where the city will come together.

The FIFA Fan Festival runs from June 11 through July 19 at Fort York and The Bentway and will broadcast World Cup matches live while hosting dozens of performances and cultural experiences. Most general admission tickets are free, though availability is limited.

One thing is certain: when the world comes to Toronto for FIFA 2026, the party won’t stop when the final whistle blows. ⚽🎶🌎
