The renewal signals more than contract paperwork — it reinforces a long-term alliance that has supported the rise of Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio from breakout reggaeton disruptor to the most streamed artist in the world. Rimas Publishing president Carlos A. Souffront called the extension a validation of the company’s model, emphasizing that discovering talent is only part of the mission — retaining it is equally critical.
The deal arrives during a dominant run for Bad Bunny, who continues to lead global streaming charts and headline stadium tours. But it also reflects Rimas’ broader strategy. The company has renewed agreements with key writers and producers including Mora, Cris MJ, Tempo, Caleb Calloway, Cheo Legendary and KARBeats, while also signing emerging voices like Octavio Cuadras and Diego Smith.
