The Super Bowl LX Halftime Show is set to be one of the most culturally significant moments of 2026 — not just because Bad Bunny is headlining, but because a groundbreaking Puerto Rican performer will be taking the stage with him: Celimar Rivera Cosme, who will sign the Apple Music Halftime Show in Puerto Rican Sign Language (PRSL).
Cosme isn’t just a supporting act — she’s a symbol of accessibility, visibility, and cultural pride. Her journey to the world’s biggest stage began in 2022, when she posted a heartfelt video asking how the deaf community could better experience Bad Bunny’s concerts. The clip went viral, and within a week, his label Rimas Entertainment reached out, kicking off a partnership that opened doors for thousands of deaf fans.
Now, she’s taking that mission to the Super Bowl.
During Super Bowl LX, Cosme will sign the full halftime performance in both ASL and PRSL, bringing Sign Language to tens of millions of viewers. PRSL, a distinct dialect with roots dating back to the early 1900s, carries unique expressions and identity — and Cosme’s presence marks a historic first for the halftime show.
She won’t be the only one representing Puerto Rico.
Fred Michael Beam will sign the National Anthem and Lift Every Voice and Sing.
Julian Ortiz, another Puerto Rican signer, will sign America the Beautiful.
Bad Bunny previously said he wouldn’t perform in the U.S. due to concerns about ICE activity near venues, but later reversed course, stating he’d do one U.S. date — the Super Bowl. Still, for many fans, the true headline is Cosme finally receiving the global platform her advocacy helped build.
This isn’t just a halftime show — it’s a breakthrough for Deaf performers, Puerto Rican representation, and the future of accessible entertainment.
