For the first time in the nearly 70-year history of the Billboard 200 albums chart, two Spanish-language albums have claimed the top two spots—a watershed moment for Latin music.
Bad Bunny’s Debí Tirar Más Fotos, an ode to Puerto Rico and his roots, has reclaimed the No. 1 position, climbing from No. 7 after its vinyl release sparked a massive surge in sales. The album marks its fourth week at No. 1, having already spent three consecutive weeks at the top earlier this year. According to Luminate, Debí Tirar Más Fotos earned 84,500 equivalent album units this week, with more than half of those coming from vinyl sales alone.
Hot on his heels is Fuerza Regida’s 111xpantia, debuting at No. 2. The Mexican-American band has now achieved the highest-charting regional Mexican album in history, surpassing Peso Pluma’s Génesis (2023). Originally released with 12 tracks and later expanded to 15 in a deluxe edition, 111xpantia amassed 76,000 units—39,000 of those from album sales and another 50 million from streams.
This feat is particularly significant. Not only is it the highest position ever reached by a Spanish-language album from a duo or group on the Billboard 200, but Fuerza Regida’s sales week also breaks a nearly three-decade record. Their 39,000 albums sold surpass the 36,000 sold by Selena’s Amor Prohibido in 1995.
Fuerza Regida, composed of frontman Jesús Ortiz Paz (JOP), José “Pelón” García, Moisés López, Khrystian Ramos, and Samuel Jáimez, had previously made waves in 2023 with Pa Las Baby’s y Belikeada, but 111xpantia has now cemented their place in Latin music history.
Meanwhile, the week’s only other Top 10 debut comes from Memphis rapper Key Glock, whose Glockaveli lands at No. 8 with 34,000 units. The deluxe edition added three new tracks to the 18-song set, helping boost its performance.
The rest of the Top 10 includes some familiar chart staples:
