Alejandra Marisa Rodríguez, a 60-year-old lawyer and journalist, was selected to represent Buenos Aires in the Miss Argentine for Miss Universe competition. The age limit for participants was removed last year, allowing Rodriguez to compete alongside women aged 18 to 40. She outshone 34 other candidates and will compete in the May 25 finals. Rodriguez, who studied journalism and law, is single and without a partner. Her victory highlights the message that beauty knows no age, and she aims to empower women of her generation. Through physical training and stage preparation, she emphasizes the importance of confidence and authenticity. Determined to vie for the Miss Universe Argentina 2024 crown, Rodriguez believes that beauty transcends age and relies on self-assurance and genuineness.
