Chimp gets so excited when reunited with couple who raised him

Limbani the chimp has an incredible story. Rejected by his mother and born with pneumonia, he was given little hope for survival. But Tania and Jorge Sanchez stepped in as foster parents, caring for him day and night until he regained his health. Now, even after seven years apart, Limbani still shows immense love and excitement when he sees them, jumping into their arms as if no time has passed. Living at the Zoological Wildlife Foundation in Miami, Limbani’s bond with Tania and Jorge reminds us how powerful human-animal connections can be, especially as more species face endangerment.
