Toronto will feel like 33 °C today, cool down on Friday & Saturday – Back to mid 20’s on Sunday

Toronto is in for a taste of summer on Thursday, with forecasters calling for a high of 28 °C and a humidex near 33 — one of the warmest days of the month. Skies will be mostly sunny with light winds, but humidity will push the “feels-like” temperature into the low 30s, more typical of July than mid-September.

For context, Toronto’s seasonal average high for this time of year is about 22 °C. That makes Thursday’s forecast nearly six degrees above normal, with the humidex feeling more than 10 degrees warmer than usual.

But the heat won’t stick around. A cold front Friday night will sweep away the humidity, dropping Saturday’s high to just 19 °C — nearly a 10-degree swing. Clear skies will remain, however, setting up a crisp and comfortable weekend. Overnight lows are also expected to dip into the single digits, with 9 °C forecast Friday night.

Looking ahead, Sunday will rebound to 24 °C with a mix of sun and clouds. Rain chances creep in by evening, followed by showers into Monday and Tuesday, though daytime highs should hold steady in the mid-20s.

So, enjoy the heat while it lasts — Toronto’s September cool-down is right around the corner.

We’re hosting the final day of summer at legendary Cabana Toronto this coming Sunday. Join us! Tickets here.
