Many are wondering about the next total solar eclipse in Toronto or Canada after today’s disappointment due to cloud cover. Unfortunately, the next chance for Toronto won’t be until 2106, with only partial visibility expected from the city. The next total solar eclipse in Canada will occur in 2044, visible from Alberta, BC, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Saskatchewan, and Yukon. A total solar eclipse on August 12, 2026, will be visible from Greenland, Iceland, Spain, Russia, and parts of Portugal. Additionally, a total lunar eclipse is expected on March 14, 2025, visible from the Americas.
