The World Cup may be over, but Shakira’s World Cup anthem is still dominating the world.
“Dai Dai,” Shakira’s collaboration with Nigerian superstar Burna Boy, has now spent 10 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart.
The milestone makes “Dai Dai” only the seventh song to spend at least 10 weeks at No. 1 since Billboard launched the global chart in 2020.
Still No. 1 After the World Cup
Released as the official song of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, “Dai Dai” became one of the defining songs of the tournament. FIFA officially unveiled the Shakira and Burna Boy collaboration in May ahead of the competition.
More than a month after the World Cup ended, the song hasn’t slowed down.
“Dai Dai” is also spending its seventh week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200, keeping Shakira at the top of the worldwide charts once again.
More than 16 years after “Waka Waka” became a global phenomenon, Shakira has somehow done it again — another World Cup, another anthem heard around the world.
