Shakira has exciting news to share as she announces her comeback with a new album titled “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” (Women No Longer Cry). This marks her first album of new material in nearly seven years, following 2017’s “El Dorado,” and it will be her 12th studio album. The title is inspired by a lyric from her collaboration with Bizarrap last year, addressing her split from Gerard Piqué. This album also marks her first release since her separation from the Spanish football player and the settlement of her tax evasion case last November. Shakira, 47, unveiled the album cover on social media, featuring a close-up of her face with tears transformed into sparkling diamonds on her cheeks. She shared a heartfelt message expressing gratitude to her fans for their support throughout the creative process. The album, set to be released on March 22, will include her last seven singles released between April 2022 and September 2023, totaling 16 tracks.
