BARRIO (Marca) – Following Shakira’s appearance at the Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix alongside Tom Cruise and following her dinner date with Lewis Hamilton, speculation about her romantic connections has been running wild.

The latest man to whom the famous singer has been linked is Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler.

The media outlet Overtime has sparked rumors by analyzing the events that took place during the Miami Heat’s recent game against the Boston Celtics in the NBA’s Eastern Conference Finals.

According to Overtime, Shakira was present at the game held at the FTX Arena last Sunday.

While it may not seem unusual for the Colombian artist to attend various sporting and social events, things took an interesting turn when it was discovered that she and Butler started following each other on social media.

Overtime also pointed out that Shakira follows a very select few on Instagram, with a mere 159 users making the cut. Among that exclusive list is the 33-year-old, 6-foot-2 shooting guard of the Miami Heat.

There has been speculation as to who followed who first, leaning towards the belief that Shakira made the first move.

It is important to note that all of this remains speculation, as neither Shakira nor Jimmy Butler have commented on the matter.

One talk show host jokingly exclaimed “I’m ready for Shimmy”, referring to a possible merging of their names.
