Colombian artist Ryan Castro is leading the charge among a new wave of reggaeton stars, showcasing versatility across genres like reggaeton, dancehall, and trap. Despite debuting singles on streaming platforms in 2017, Castro’s first album, “El Cantante Del Ghetto,” has just been released. Reflecting on his upbringing in Medellin’s Pedregal neighborhood, where he once performed on the streets, Castro’s album narrates tales of ambition, hard work, and humility.

“El Cantante Del Ghetto” comprises 18 tracks, featuring collaborations with Coqe, La Eterna, Peso Pluma, Rich the Kid, Arcangel, Ñengo Flow, Yandel, Jowell y Randy, and Zion. To celebrate the album’s launch, Castro has released a music video for the standout track featuring Arcangel, titled “Pueblo De Medallo.” Fans can enjoy the album across all streaming platforms.
