A tragic incident at the Jet Set Lounge nightclub in the Santo Domingo area of the Dominican Republic has left 12 people dead and 46 injured after the roof collapsed during a live performance. Shocking footage captured the moment the ceiling gave way, crashing down on a packed dancefloor.

Emergency response was swift, with 77 ambulances, eight fire trucks, and 30 Civil Defense rescuers rushing to the scene to aid survivors trapped in the rubble. Some were reportedly still stirring beneath the debris.
