While touring the U.S. with his Cosa Nuestra World Tour, Rauw Alejandro made a meaningful stop at Valley State Prison in Fresno on April 12, 2025. The visit was part of a special event hosted by his nonprofit, Proyecto PaMaRa, aimed at inspiring over 100 incarcerated youth through art, spirituality, and community.

The event, done in partnership with activist Scott Budnick and organizations like ARC and 1Community, featured group talks, a soccer match with local pros, a BBQ, and a “Wall of Dreams” where inmates shared their hopes. Rauw reflected on how powerful the experience was, saying he left feeling deeply moved.

Proyecto PaMaRa, founded by Rauw and his family, focuses on healing and empowerment through six key pillars, and has already helped thousands. The California State Senate even recognized their efforts with an official honor.

Rauw’s prison visit happened the day before his Fresno show and ties into the themes of his Cosa Nuestra album, which blends reggaeton with traditional Latin genres and features big names like Bad Bunny and Pharrell. The tour runs through May 30, wrapping up in Miami after 22 stops.
