Raul Jimenez becomes Premier League’s highest-scoring Mexican

Raúl Jiménez moved closer to a Premier League record after converting two penalties in Fulham’s draw with Ipswich Town, maintaining his perfect record of 10 penalties scored without a miss. Only Cole Palmer (12) and Yaya Touré (11) have scored more penalties without missing in Premier League history.

Jiménez, now two penalties shy of the record, is enjoying a resurgence at Fulham with eight goals in 15 league starts—the most in a Premier League season since his 17-goal tally with Wolves in 2019/20.

The 33-year-old also set a new milestone, surpassing Javier “Chicharito” Hernández as the highest-scoring Mexican in Premier League history, with 55 goals.
