BARRIO – “With a broad-shouldered frame and good size, Sanchez was one of the bigger quarterbacks in the field and flashed his strong arm. He had an effortless throwing motion and got the ball downfield with no wasted movement. Sanchez was accurate and on time whenever he got his feet set. He’ll be the guy for the Braves next season and should put up big numbers.”

Sanchez was the backup to Louisville bound quarterback Pierce Clarkson the last two years but has shown he’s a very capable pocket passer. He led the Braves to the LB Millikan 7v7 championship last summer in what was a loaded field.

Nevada has offered a scholarship and there are a few other schools showing interest including San Jose State, Hawaii, Oregon State and several Ivy League programs. He just visited Corvallis earlier this month.

Sanchez will have plenty of chances to impress the colleges when Spring Ball heats up and his recruitment could really take off this summer.
