Singer Karol G and others aboard a private airplane experienced an emergency landing at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles around 9 p.m. The plane departed from Hollywood Burbank Airport with 16 people but had to return due to smoke in the cockpit. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the malfunction is unknown. Karol G, who recently won her first Grammy and was named Billboard’s 2024 Woman of the Year, is set to be honored at the Billboard Women in Music Awards on March 6.
