Peso Pluma is taking his love for soccer to another level this summer. After recently collaborating with adidas on a special Mexico national team jersey, the Música Mexicana superstar has now been announced as part of a major FIFA World Cup kickoff celebration in Los Angeles.
On June 11, adidas and the Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Host Committee will host a full day of World Cup festivities at BMO Stadium. The event will begin with a public watch party for the opening World Cup match between Mexico and South Africa, followed by adidas’ nationwide adiCup 3v3 soccer tournament.
The celebration will continue throughout the day before culminating with a free concert headlined by Peso Pluma, alongside a DJ set from Noodles. Free tickets for the event will be available beginning June 1 through Ticketmaster.
The concert is part of adidas’ larger FIFA World Cup 2026 Home of Soccer initiative, which will establish fan hubs in major host cities including Toronto and New York City. The activations will feature watch parties, athlete appearances, fan experiences, music performances, and soccer programming throughout the tournament.
Earlier this month, Peso Pluma partnered with adidas to help launch Mexico’s new 2026-27 away jersey, describing the collaboration as a celebration of Mexican culture and identity.
“This isn’t just about me — it’s for my people, my culture and everyone pushing Mexico forward,” the artist said during the campaign launch.
As the World Cup approaches, Peso Pluma continues to establish himself as one of the most influential Latin artists on the planet, bringing together music, sports, and culture on one of the world’s biggest stages.
