Latin pop superstar Natti Natasha, who recently surpassed 400 million views on her “Ram Pam Pam” music video on YouTube, has launched TASHA, a sparkling rosé produced in Bordeaux, France. The Dominican-born signer-songwriter announced the project to her 34.1 million Instagram followers on Friday, November 19th.

“I’ve always been in love with Champagne and sparkling wine,” she says, “but struggled to find an existing product that represented who I am. Rather than partnering with a brand that did not match my personality, I decided to take the plunge and create my own wine from scratch.”

In scouting producers around the globe, Natti Natasha landed on the iconic Bordeaux region, where she met and clicked with French winemaker Céline Lannoye. The two women partnered to create TASHA, a classic blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot, aged for 12 months in the traditional Champagne method.

“My goal was to introduce a super-premium wine from a world-renowned region,” says Natti Natasha. “I wanted the packaging to convey a sense of luxury, without looking too pretentious.”

TASHA will be available in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic in December 2021, distributed through Coca Cola Puerto Rico. Limited quantities will be available to U.S. fans via online orders in January 2022, with wider U.S. distribution planned for later in the year. The wine will retail in the $30-35 range.

“This is a very personal project. Above all else, I am doing it for myself, my family, my friends and my people,” Natti Natasha says. “TASHA is me in every way — it has a bubbly personality and is the perfect companion to celebration.”

Between her newborn, her new album and the launch of TASHA, 2021 has been an incredible year for the artist. With this release, Natti Natasha becomes the first Latina artist to own a sparkling wine brand. Definitely worth celebrating by popping a bottle of TASHA.

She concludes: “I wanted to show all my Latinas out there that nothing is impossible. This is our time. No dream is too big!”
