TORONTO (Barrio) – Lionel Messi will reportedly acquire 35% of shares in Inter Miami and then join MLS franchise when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain comes to an end in 2023.

Messi parted ways with Barcelona last summer when they failed to renew his contract due to financial struggles.

He joined PSG on a two year deal and his next destination is expected to be Inter Miami in MLS in 2023.

It is reported that the 34 year old is working on buying 35% of the Inter Miami’s shares.

Messi previously confirmed in an interview that he would be willing to move to the United States in the future.

We’re definitely keeping our Toronto FC season tickets. Let’s goooo.
