Lionel Messi has added yet another milestone to his legendary career, becoming just the second men’s player in history to score 900 official goals, joining Cristiano Ronaldo in one of football’s most exclusive clubs.
The historic moment came during Inter Miami’s Concacaf Champions Cup clash against Nashville SC, where Messi opened the scoring with a classic move — cutting onto his left foot and finishing with precision. However, the night ended in disappointment as Nashville equalized through Cristian Espinoza, eliminating Miami on away goals after a 1–1 draw.
Despite the result, Messi’s achievement reinforces his status as one of the greatest to ever play the game. The Argentine captain reached 900 goals in 1,142 matches, faster than Ronaldo, and continues to deliver at the highest level well into his career.
