One of Puerto Rico’s most iconic celebrations just got even more legendary.
The Fiestas de la Calle San Sebastián—better known as SanSe—took over the streets of Old San Juan once again this year, drawing massive crowds for days of music, culture, and nonstop energy. And just when fans thought the festival couldn’t get any bigger, Luis Fonsi and Feid delivered one of the most unforgettable surprises of the entire weekend.
In an unexpected moment that instantly sent the crowd into a frenzy, Luis Fonsi and Feid appeared in the middle of the festival—not just as spectators, but as artists ready to reveal something major. The two global superstars officially announced their first-ever musical collaboration, titled “Cambiaré.”
The announcement alone was enough to spark excitement across Puerto Rico, but the biggest moment came when they shared a preview of the track directly with the hundreds of thousands of fans gathered in the streets.
Set to release in full on Tuesday, January 20, “Cambiaré” is a salsa record, marking a major switch-up for both artists—especially Feid, who is primarily known worldwide for reggaeton and urban hits.
This new song blends Fonsi’s Puerto Rican roots with Feid’s modern style, creating a track that pays tribute to classic salsa while bringing a fresh, high-energy twist that feels made for the streets of San Juan.
From a balcony overlooking the celebration, the artists played the track for the crowd, creating a once-in-a-lifetime festival moment. At one point, Feid hyped up the audience with a simple request:
“Turn on your flash if you liked it.”
Following the surprise appearance, Feid took to social media to show love to the island and the fans who witnessed the moment live, writing:
“At SanSe 🇵🇷! With this beaaaast @luisfonsi and all the love from this very special island!!!!!! January 20 is cominggggg alreadyyyyy!!!!!”
It was a clear sign that this collaboration isn’t just another drop—it’s something personal, connected to culture, roots, and the energy of the people.
For both Fonsi and Feid, unveiling “Cambiaré” during the biggest street celebration in Puerto Rico felt intentional: it wasn’t just a performance or an announcement—it was a gift to the people, delivered in the most authentic way possible.
With the streets of Old San Juan packed wall-to-wall and the festival reaching its peak, the debut of their salsa collaboration became the perfect closing moment to an already historic SanSe.
