Once known for its peak December-to-March rush, the Baja California hotspot is now drawing visitors in every season. According to FITURCA, summer arrivals have nearly doubled since 2016, while autumn and winter tourism continue to thrive. The shift shows how travellers are no longer waiting for the “high season” to enjoy the region’s beaches, luxury resorts, and cultural energy.
October remains a special time — not just for its perfect 80°F days and crisp ocean breezes, but because it marks the official return of the high season, when festivals, art walks, and world-class events light up the coast.
Hotel rates climb as demand surges, yet visitors keep coming, drawn by the balance of luxury, sustainability, and global appeal that defines modern Los Cabos.
