Lionel Messi’s bodyguard, Yasin Chueco, has issued a boxing challenge to YouTuber Logan Paul, and it seems Paul has finally responded. Chueco, a former U.S. Navy SEAL with combat experience, has gained attention on social media for his role in protecting Messi.

The two reportedly crossed paths through the beverage industry—Messi owns the sports drink brand MAS+, while Paul is entangled in a legal battle over PRIME, his energy drink co-created with KSI.

Chueco initially challenged Paul via social media, saying, “People on the street are asking me about this fight. There’s nowhere to run now. Let’s make it happen.” Paul, who has boxing experience—including an exhibition match against Floyd Mayweather—initially ignored the challenge but eventually fired back:

“Tell him to line up. He’s just an MMA guy who thinks he can box. If he really wants to fight, he can come find me in Puerto Rico.”

Paul even mocked Messi, suggesting that the football icon would not only lose the lawsuit over MAS+ but also end up with a defeated bodyguard.

It remains to be seen whether this fight will actually happen, but given Logan Paul’s history of high-profile matches, it wouldn’t be surprising if the challenge turns into a full-fledged event.
