The lineup for Coachella 2024 was unveiled this week, presenting a diverse array of Latin acts from various corners of the globe and spanning different genres. The upcoming spring music festival will feature performances by acclaimed artists such as Peso Pluma, Ice Spice, J Balvin, Young Miko, Bizarrap, and more.

While Bad Bunny made history as the first Latin headliner at Coachella last year, this year’s headliners include Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, and Doja Cat, with no specific Latin headliner. Nonetheless, the Coachella stage will be graced by a multitude of Latin artists during the weekends of April 12 and 19.

Colombian reggaeton star J Balvin, renowned for his vibrant 2019 Coachella performance, is making a return. Argentine producer Bizarrap, the creative force behind Shakira’s “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53,” is set to take the stage, sparking anticipation for a possible performance of his latest work, “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 58,” with Puerto Rican rapper Young Miko, who is also part of the lineup. Representing Brazil, Ludmilla will showcase the burgeoning genre of Brazilian funk.

Several Mexican acts are making their Coachella debuts this year, including R&B singer Girl Ultra, indie pop trio Latin Mafia, and emerging folk star Kevin Kaarl. Peso Pluma, a key figure in popularizing música Mexicana globally last year, will have his own set after joining Becky G’s performance last year. Mexican crooner Carín León will also represent música Mexicana at the festival.

Dominican-American artist Ice Spice, who had an outstanding year as an emerging rapper, will also grace the stage. Rising artist Santa Fe Klan will represent the rap scene, and Mexican-American singer Eddie Zuko, known for his reggae-infused Spanglish tunes, is set to make an appearance.

Cuban singer-songwriter Cimafunk will infuse the stage with Afro-Caribbean grooves. Additional unique Latin acts on the lineup include the instrumental stylings of Hermanos Gutiérrez and the alternative cumbia of Son Rompe Pera. With such a vibrant mix, Coachella 2024 promises an exciting showcase of Latin talent.
