Willy Chavarria is once again merging high fashion, culture, and sport — this time with a bold new sneaker for Adidas Originals.
The designer’s latest collaboration, the Willy Chavarria Megaride AG, officially drops later this week, offering a modern, fashion-forward take on Adidas’ classic Megaride franchise. First seen during Chavarria’s Spring/Summer 2026 runway show in Paris, the sneaker now moves from couture-level presentation to global release.
Two Colorways, One Statement
The Megaride AG arrives in black and cream, each bringing its own identity while keeping Chavarria’s signature design language front and center.
The black version features a silver metal mesh upper with translucent TPU overlays, reflective and suede accents, and a translucent putty-grey outsole with pops of red foam. Details like the double Adidas logo on the sock liner and reflective “Chavarria” branding on the tongue push the sneaker into elevated territory.
The cream colorway leans cleaner but still bold, with a cream mesh base, suede hits on the toe and heel, subtle red touches on the outsole, and a matte “Chavarria” logo running down the tongue.
Both styles are built around Adidas’ iconic Megaride cushioning system, blending performance heritage with a luxury streetwear feel.

Runway Meets Real Life
Chavarria described the design as both unique and wearable, noting that he created variations of the same shoe family to speak to different audiences — from high fashion to more accessible versions. That philosophy shows in the Megaride AG, which feels runway-ready but still built for everyday wear.
What’s Next
The release also connects to Chavarria’s growing influence in footwear. His upcoming Fall/Winter 2026 work is heavily inspired by soccer, with future drops like the Megaride Copa sneaker and Predator cleat on the horizon.
