Karol G, the top-streamed female Latin artist on Spotify for four consecutive years, will have her barbed-wire heart logo featured on FC Barcelona jerseys as part of a collaboration between the Spanish club and Spotify. The logo will debut during the FC Barcelona Femení Liga F match against Villarreal CF Femenino on April 13, and will also be worn by the men’s team in the La Liga El Clásico match against Real Madrid on April 21. Limited-edition shirts with the heart logo are available for purchase. Karol G expressed gratitude, stating that the heart symbolizes her “Bichota” style, representing strength, resilience, and support. Spotify’s vice president praised Karol G’s success and likened her music’s passion to that of the football club, emphasizing the significance of the partnership. This collaboration follows Rosalía’s previous partnership with Barcelona and Drake’s placement of the OVO logo on FC Barcelona jerseys in 2022. FC Barcelona’s marketing vice president highlighted the bond between music and football, expressing excitement for this unique partnership with Karol G and Spotify.
