Karol G and Shakira’s breakup anthem “TQG” has surpassed one billion views on YouTube, joining the Billion Views Club. Released on Feb. 24, 2023, as part of Karol’s album “Mañana Será Bonito,” the empowering track touches on moving on from past relationships and being on another level. This achievement marks the eighth Billion Views Club entry for both artists, with Karol’s previous hits including “China,” “Tusa,” and “Secreto,” while Shakira’s repertoire includes “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)” and “Chantaje.” “TQG” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts and became Karol’s first top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. It also won Best Collaboration at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards.
