TORONTO (Barrio) – Jennifer Lopez dropped a brief teaser for her upcoming Netflix documentary Halftime. The movie, whose title is a nod to her entering her 50s and to her Super Bowl halftime show with Shakira, promises to explore her life on and offstage.
The teaser is comprised of short clips showing JLo onstage at the 2020 Super Bowl and during her strenuous rehearsals.
‘I do this to connect with people and make them feel things,’ the star declares, insisting: ‘I want something real!’
Halftime will dive into Jennifer’s personal life, including her bond with her 14-year-old twins Max and Emme, as well as her work life.
The feature is directed by Amanda Micheli, and will premiere at opening night of the Tribeca Film Festival on June 8 before dropping on Netflix June 14.
