J Balvin is bringing a new sound to a rock classic ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The global superstar has teamed up with Coca-Cola to release a reimagined version of Jump, the iconic 1980s hit originally performed by Van Halen. Known for its instantly recognizable synth intro, the classic track has long been considered one of rock’s most memorable songs and even appears on Rolling Stone’s list of the “500 Greatest Songs of All Time.”

Balvin’s version keeps the famous synth melody but transforms the track into a Latin pop-inspired anthem, blending English and Spanish vocals. The remix features singer-songwriter Amber Mark, guitar work from Steve Vai, and production by Travis Barker.

The release has already caught attention from soccer stars, including Lamine Yamal, as fans prepare for the World Cup kickoff.

With its mix of rock nostalgia and Latin pop energy, the new “Jump” aims to introduce a legendary song to a whole new generation of football fans.
