Dulce Flores, a Spanish teacher at Riverbank High School in California, has been arrested for allegedly having an unlawful sexual relationship with a 17-year-old former student in 2023. The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office took Flores into custody on Feb. 28 after police began investigating following a tip from an unrelated party.

Flores, who has taught at the school since 2016 and also listed work as a beauty advisor on her LinkedIn profile, was arrested at her home. She was booked into Stanislaus County Jail on a $20,000 bail and charged with one count of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor. The Riverbank Unified School District has placed her on leave and is cooperating with the investigation. It is unclear if Flores has entered a plea or secured legal representation. Authorities are asking anyone with relevant information to come forward.
